Radical Cup North America kicked off the 2024 season at Sebring International Raceway this weekend and Danny Dyszelski had a solid start to his campaign. Making the move to RySpec Racing and competing in the Pro 1500 class, Dyszelski earned a trio of podium results in the first event of the season and will now trade in his Radical machinery for an open-wheel car to compete at the Grand Prix of St. Petersburg.

After starting second in the Pro 1500 class for race one, Dyszelski drove to a podium finish in his first Radical Cup wheel-to-wheel action with RySpec Racing, coming home in the third position. In race two, Dyszelski piloted his #88 to a second place race result, standing on the podium once again and bettering his result from earlier in the day. Returning to the track on Sunday for race three, Dyszelski once again crossed the line in second and celebrated on the podium for the third time in as many races.

“Overall, it was a good weekend with RySpec Racing,” Dyszelski explained. “Three podium finishes in three races is a great start to the season, but I can’t wait to get on the top step of the podium and will have my next shot at Barber Motorsports Park next month.”

With no time off, Dyszelski now turns his attention to the USF Pro 2000 Presented by Continental Tire season opener in St. Petersburg this weekend, where he will be racing with Turn 3 Motorsport. Taking on the tight confines of the barrier-lined circuit, Dyszelski will be aiming for success in back-to-back weekends.

Dyszelski continued, “I’m looking forward to switching gears and racing in Pro 2000, and I can’t wait to see what we can accomplish on the streets of St. Pete. It is a quick event with just one practice session before qualifying, so the goal will be to stay out of trouble early and see how the weekend unfolds. I have two great programs in RySpec and Turn 3 and am looking forward to a lot of racing in 2024.”

Danny Dyszelski and the rest of the USF Pro 2000 Presented by Continental Tire field will take to the track on Friday, March 8 for the first and only practice session of the weekend, followed by qualifying. Race one is scheduled for Saturday, and race two will take place Sunday morning.
