A victor at the most recent Blue Marble Radical Cup North America event on the Streets of Toronto, WISKO Racing’s Danny Dyszelski is ready for the penultimate round of the 2023 championship. A mere eight points back from the current championship leader with six races remaining, Dyszelski enters the Circuit of the Americas (COTA) event this weekend focused and ready to put on the full-court press.

“We have had some decent races and been fortunate to win several times this season,” explained Dyszelski. “On the flip side, we have had a couple of races that did not go our way and that is why I am second in the points battle now. The plan this weekend is simple; maximize when we can, where we can, and if we do that, we will be in a good position at Laguna Seca in a few weeks’ time.”

Starting off the season with four straight victories, it took to round 12 in Toronto to obtain his sixth win of the season. Feeling like momentum is back on his side, Dyszelski heads into the 3.41-mile, 20-turn road course looking for a Texas-sized win.

Dyszelski continued, “I like the track and the layout. The length really gives us the opportunity to stretch our legs. There will be some strategy that comes into play with drafting and such, but I feel we can outsmart the competition in that area.”

Forgoing his open wheel program in June to focus on the Radical Cup title, Dyszelski enters the weekend second in the overall Blue Marble Radical Cup North America championship.

“My goal is to earn enough points to score both championships,” added Dyszelski. “I think as a team, we have done all the right things to earn this championship, but it will come down to the last six races.”

Set to hit the track Friday for two test sessions and the first of two official practice sessions, Saturday will feature practice two, qualifying and the first wheel-to-wheel action of the weekend. Sunday is reserved for races two and three on the weekend. Qualifying and races will be broadcast on the Radical Motorsports YouTube page HERE.
