After his first open wheel race of the 2023 season this past weekend on the Streets of St. Petersburg, Danny Dyszelski will be back on track this weekend a little further north. Set for the start of the 2023 Blue Marble Radical Cup North America program at NOLA Motorsports Park, Dyszleski will pilot a WISKO Racing-prepared Pro 1500 machine in his quest to earn the top step of the podium in three wheel-to-wheel races this weekend.

While the weekend in Florida did not go as planned for Dyszelski, the young pilot built momentum on Sunday driving from deep in the field to earn a solid seventh-place finish in round two of the USF2000 Championship Presented by Cooper Tires.

“It was a difficult first race for us as a crash put us behind for the start of race two as lap times for race one set the grid for the second race,” explained Dyszelski. “I knew what I had to do Sunday morning and that was to make it through the first corner, keep my nose clean, and advance as far forward as possible.”

Starting from P20 on the grid, Dyszleski did just that advancing forward thirteen positions in the twenty-lap race to end his weekend in seventh.

Dyszelski continued, “The minute the race ended, my focus shifted to the Pro 1500 car. We have a new car this season and after a second-place finish at the Radical World Finals last November and setting a new track record at Carolina Motorsports Park a few weeks ago, I am confident and ready to earn my first win of the 2023 season.”

Heading to NOLA Motorsports Park to join WISKO Racing for the opening round of the Blue Marble Radical Cup North America series, Dyszelski will be on track Thursday for pre-event testing before the official competition gets underway Friday. With three wheel-to-wheel races over the weekend, the WISKO Racing driver is looking to start off his second series of competition victorious.
